While still on the banana and chocolate theme from last week, I thought I would have a go at making some low fat banana chocolate muffins. After a couple of attempts I’ve come up with a recipe that resembles and taste somewhat like banana muffins, I hope you agree.

Hi, I'm Melanie but most people call me Mel! I love good tasting food, enjoy cooking and growing my own veg. Love the great outdoors and spending time with my family.
Hi, I made these today, just following the written recipe, they came out quite gloopy inside, I just watched the video and noticed you used baking powder, there is no baking powder listed in the ingredients, maybe this makes the difference! Also wondering, my bananas were a little overripe, would that make any difference?
Hi Melanie,
Sorry, but yes there should be a tsp of baking powder in the ingredients, this will help them to raise, they shouldn’t be gloopy inside, but do let them cool completely before eating, as I did find that when I had the first one hot from the oven it was ever so slighty wet inside but when they had completely cool they were just fine xx
