Quick Quinoa Porridge

Over the past couple of weeks, Quinoa has really grown on me, to the point I’m now eating it for breakfast! Yes, I’ve been whipping up a quick quinoa porridge to get me going in the morning.

It’s such a versatile ingredient, it works great in salads hot or cold, can be used as a side, main or breakfast, and that’s not even mentioning all the health benefits.

With a little bit of experimenting, I discovered it makes a lovely porridge, don’t get me wrong I love the good old fashioned porridge oats, but using Quinoa, I realised that the fat and carb content was much lower in comparison and it’s protein rich, it’s a complete protein, (containing all 9 amino acids).

Trust me this quick quinoa porridge taste so good!

You can make a big batch and leave in the fridge, just reheat in the morning adding a splash of milk to loosen it up a little.
