Reading stories of other peoples weight loss is so inspirational. It gives me the courage knowing that its possible, especially when you see the before and after pictures.
I came across this new article on Celebrity Catherine Tyldesley, who went from a size 22 to a size 10 and landed her dream role in Coronation Street.
Reading celebrities weight loss stories are a bit of a hit and miss with me, as not all of them are believable or even achievable but what got me relating to this stories was the changes that Catherine made to her life, healthy eating and exercise, not “faddy diets” and the fact that even after an amazing transformation she still has body issues just like the way I feel.
Here is the full story on Catherine Tyldesley as printed by NOWdaily..
Catherine Tyldesly’s Body Issues After Weight Loss
Catherine Tyldesley admits she still has body issues after losing 4st 2lb.
Posing naked for Now in August 2011, Catherine talks cellulite, extreme diets and why she’ll never be skinny…You’ve gone from a 14st 7lb ‘funny fat actress’ to naked shoots in Now: can you believe it?
No, I can’t and I’m very nervous about today.
I’m not a bikini girl, more a one-piece under a kaftan.
Obviously I’m very proud of my weight loss, but I’ve still got body issues, like my stretchmarks and my stomach.
Compared to what I was when I was a teen, I’ve got nothing to complain about.
I can walk and talk, I’ve got all my limbs, I’m healthy… so at the end of the day, what’s a stretchmark?
How did you do it?
I tried all the fad diets and even the revolting cabbage diet.
The only thing that worked was healthy eating and exercise.
I re-educated myself about food with the help of a nutritionist.
What made you get serious?
I was auditioning to play Rizzo in Grease and the director laughed and said: ‘No, you’ll always be the fat, funny friend’
If I met him again I’d thank him for giving me a kick up the backside. The full story is posted here.
Even though this is a success story on a celebrity, with her revealing facts that she has issues with stretch marks, stomach and cellulite I feel that I can relate to her more as a person as these are some of my issue.
As the weeks pass and the pounds slowly melts away, my stomach is one of my major concerns, I’m hoping that with the help of exercise I will have a stomach I can be proud of.
