Quick Fix Cheesecake

Every so often we all need that quick fix, and that’s how I came up with the “Quick Fix Cheesecake”  I had seen a couple of recipes where peeps mixed together quark and options but I just wanted another dimension to it so thought that adding fruit would do the trick. (I’m sure that I’m not the first person to think of this)

This little pud is perfect for those moments when your set in front of the TV, and your other half is munching into a bar of chocolate and you don’t want to feel left out.  Its so quick and simple to put together, that it’s hard to believe it can taste so good 🙂

How To Make Your Quick Fix Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 Alpen light bar
  • Sachet of Options hot chocolate
  • Sweetener
  • Vanilla extract
  • 125g Quark
  • Mix berries or other fruits (optional)

  • 232 Calories

  • 23g Carbs

  • 2g Fat

  • 13g Protein

Instructions

  1. Warm Alpen bar for 10-20 sec in microwave
  2. Flatten into a ring or small bowl as a base
  3. Mix together quark, Options hot choc, vanilla extract and sweetener
  4. Add half quark mix to the base, then top with fruit.
  5. Add remaining quark mixture and decorate with fruit. leave in fridge until ready to eat.
  6. Remove ring before serving and decorate with a grating of chocolate.
  7. Enjoy!

    Hi, this sounds amazing!!!
    Please could u tell me which alpen light bar you use for the base? And would u suggest strawberries or Raspberries for in the middle?

      Hi Emma,
      I used the fudge one, although you can any of them, the chocolate orange is good too. I like raspberries best but strawberries will work too or any type of fruit, kiwi’s are nice x

    Hi Emma, I made these last week and they are absolutely delicious!!! My husband loved them as well. Keep coming up with these fab recipes. Any low syn chocolate deserts would be very welcome. Xxx
