Two of the biggest factors that prevent most of us from exercising are motivation and time. Today we’ll tackle the element of time by showing you how your slow cooker can free up that all-important exercising time.
If you want to be fit and healthy, exercise is just as important as healthy eating, so how can your slow cooker help? Well to begin with your slow cooker does not require you to constantly stand over it, stirring, tasting until the meal is complete, no instead you just take 10 – 15 mins to fill it with your ingredients, usually in the morning and then carry on with the rest of your day, fitting in your exercise routines and then sitting down to a stress free meal in the evening.
Okay, how about getting up an hour earlier, take 5 mins to put some porridge mix into your slow cooker, whiles it’s cooking away for the next hour and half, you can fit in a quick workout, get a shower and then sit down to a nice warm bowl of porridge, compliments of your slow cooker, just before heading off to work, or doing the school run, or doing whatever it is you need to do for the rest of the day.
